I'm picking up a GMC near Portland, OR and want to replace the tires before heading back to northern Idaho. Any recommendations for inexpensive tire outlets in the area? Thought I had a sweet deal through Sears for $637 for 6 Falken tires installed, but they called today and tires are back ordered indefinitely. Now best deal I can find is Les Schwab at $901.

P.S. Just saw the forcast...anyone ever mount a plow on their GMC? Confused

America's Tire is in Portland. That's where I buy all my tires here in
Eugene.

Find you best deal online and they will match it.
Figure to add about $10/tire for shipping and they'll charge to mount
and balance, of course.

Does the coach have 16" wheels? If not then your choices are limited. I bought some 16.5" firestones for my trip back from Ohio to beautiful California. They are round and they are hard. Not so delicious.

Pete is buying the 16inch steel wheels I found and bought off craigslist a few months ago. So he needs 16 inch tires.

I checked prices at the shop I normally use, I was told tire prices went up 35% last year and another 5% so far this year!
