I'm new to the site and am amazed at the collective knowledge of the hobby.
Can anyone give me the years of the target vehicles to replace the Steering
Column in my 1977 Transmode? Any and all comments are certainly wanted.

Tom,
Just to make sure you understand:
The only known replacement for lower part of the Steering column is from another TZE style GMC motorhome. (If you happen to find a replacement, let us know!)
The bottom section of your column can be spliced to the columns mentioned in other replies. (Many GM style columns from the GMC era and a few years newer.. for the most part -- 1970' and 1980's full sized cars and trucks (GM and some Jeeps) with automatic shifters on the column.)

Welcome to the forum. BTW it would be very helpful in the long run if your subject was more detailed, mostly because we can search on the subject words in the future.
If you were looking for info on the exchange of steering columns you should have gotten a lot of links. The photo site has a lot of pix and details.
Of course you can also go to the forum and search for all archived posts, too.
Good luck with the change over - it looks like a real nice upgrade.

Welcome to our group. You will get the assistance you need right here. If you title your request with something other than "help" it would be much quicker for you and better for us. When I see the word "help" in the title it makes me think someone is broken down on the road. Kinda startles me. MAybe because I have had to use it before, ha.
Anyway, good to have you here.
