I just finished installing my JRV systems monitor and Nothing reads as it
should!
The small propane gauge attached to the propane tank reads just under 50 but
the JRV shows FULL
The fresh water tank which is fairly new and into which I installed the
sensors myself, shows FULL but it is empty! At first it was showing 3/4 but
after I connected the ground (white wire at the bottom) it read full and
after I removed the ground, it still read Full.

Electrics is not my specialty, but how difficult can this be??? I have not
drilled for sensors in the black or grey water tanks yet.

Suggestions please on what I should be checking for...

Mike in NS..busy scratching my head !

you need to follow the color codes.
Switch the wires around and see.
Call me on our toll free line if no results.

Thanks Jim

I know the tank is yours, but I can't remember where I got the JRV
monitor..it was at least 4 years ago, but I'm just getting to it now! Will
I hurt anything if I connect odd wires?

No, as it does not short out with anything but water or air.

Netters

Let's end this discussion....Pleaseeeeeeee!

My black and grey are not connected.
Power shows where it should .
Water pump turns on and off.
I've always wondered about my propane, but I'll come back to that !

It seems my fresh water tank wire from the JRV sender to the original wire
was not connected! It has been connected and now shows Empty as it should!
When I installed the tank a couple of years ago, I tied the wired together
but did not connect them....(Blush)!

I'm tempted to say, " How could I be that stupid!!" but I know you guys
would be more than happy to inform me! <VBG>

Thank you

Mike in NS

Mike, you are a funny guy. Come on down here. Was 75 yesterday. Little cooler today but not much.
I bought one of those many years back, monitoring system. I have not found a way to put the sensors in my black tank yet, need a drill with a 45 or 90 degree bend to get up in there and put the holes in. I plan to hide my monitor in the closet. I love the old original and it all works but the black. My float rusted off and I had to flush it out.
Dan,

Sometimes, when one reviews a problem, the solution pops up.

My plan is to head South for sure...I just don't know the departure
day...yet!
If I can't figure one out, I'll just leave anyway...and you'll know when I
get there .

See ya
