Got the master cylinder installed today that Jim K. sent us. Finished a couple of other "to do's". So we are rolling Monday over the mountains. Will stop for a couple of nites in the Phoenix area and hope to be in Quartzsite Wednesday afternoon. If anyone needs our phone number just email me. We plan to head up to the VW Bus show in Lake Havasu Saturday but will be around the area the rest of the time. Hope to stay until the Big Tent show is over and we sell every LED that we have. Should head to Applied GMC at the end of the month. The tracker will be on. Anyway, hope to see several of you there. We will park at mile marker 99 on the west side of the road.

Dan,
Contrary to my earlier statement, I will NOT make it
down there.
I got my "surplus" notification from AT&T in early December
and I
am busily trying to find a new position inside the company
before
my final day of 31 Jan.

Larry, you won't have to worry about a "spot". there will be plenty of room. The 49ers will be parked on the left side of 95 just south of town. You can not miss them. We will be down the road 5 miles on the right with the ham radio operators. But, will be visiting the 49er's camp daily.

Dan,

So the reason for no brakes and the inability to bleed them was because the
M/C was bad?

Yea, I called Jim K. and he told me that and sent me a brand new one. The one I got at Autozone lasted a year. But, I let it get low on fluid so I believe I caused the damage.

Dan,

I'm happy that you've fixed it and will be proceeding with brakes!

You're naughty boy, the GMC god punished you for buying from a non GMC
vendor! Couldn't resist that one! ;-)

By the way before I answered Rivers I did some checking, he's only sent in
10 messages since he's been registered on the GMC net.

Here's a link to all his messages:

http://gmc.mybirdfeeder.net/GMCforum/index.php?t=showposts&id=1763&rid=1271

I think he's trying to sandbag Jim into replacing shocks he didn't sell!

Rob

Yes, you are correct Rob but I was at the mercy of others when I got that pump last year.
Terry, we are going to miss you at the hamfest. I am sorry you are in that position. Hope things work out soon and we can see you while at Jim K's.
