Thanks to John Ruff I have a job in the Big Tent at Quartzsite. We are working in one of the very buisiest booths at the show. Those of you that have been there know that is true. The Led company is based in the Phoenix area and they sell quality lights.
Here is a link to the website: http://prudentrver.com/
If you plan to be at the show take a look at the various lights. We will have others that are not on the website. The owner just contacted me to let me know that the prices will be discounted at Quartzsite and that we will have some brand new types to show and sell there.
So, look around and then come by to see John and me. As most of you already know, I love leds and have them all over our coach.
If you are still on the fence about coming, let me help you over it. This is the most fun that Teri and I have while wintering in Az. It is just an unbelievable place for rvers. Nowhere can one have this much fun for such little money.
We hope to see you there.

The Pacific Cruisers will be camping just across from the wash that
separates Rice ranch from the BLM land to the south. We will have at least
three fires going and enough fire wood to actually start the global warming
process.

Dan,
I bought a LED bayonet bulb off eBay that worked in the standard double
square lights in Double Trouble; IIRC they were 1156. I only bought 1 to see
just how bright the 36 LED's it had really was. It put out a pleasant white
light but no way was it bright enough for my tired old eyes. While I was at
Channelview RV picking up some "stuff" I noticed they had some bayonet bulbs
like the 1156 that were REALLY bright! Unfortunately they were REALLY
expensive. I can't seem to find them doing a Google search.
Let us know if the shop owner will do a deal (group buy?) if a lot of us
would buy a lot of bulbs. I would want 10 -12 of them myself to replace all
the interior incandescent bulbs in Double Trouble.

Ok, I will see you there, Steve, and pick up the rear view camera.
The owner also told me that we will have a plug in light for 5 bux that
replaces the bayonette types. It is fully regulated so over voltage wont
kill it. Guarenteed for life. That is a heck of a deal. I think it may take
two wired together to do what the incadessant did as far as light but that
is still a deal. Over voltage is a killer of led lights. Teri and I hope to
see lots of GMCers there again this year. Maybe I can talk her into helping
John and me. Naw, she would want me to pay her. LOL.

Larry,
We usually stay at the Elk City Elk's lodge. Friendly bunch, great food,
cheap. You are about 800 miles away.
The best way is 40 west to I-25, head south on I-25 until you get to Hatch,
NM. Leave I -25 there and take 26 to Deming. Pick up I-10 west in Deming
and stay on it until exit 302, head south on 90. At the east. gate of Fort
Huachuca, 90 takes a service loop east around SV. Do not take it. Continue
straight, you are now on Buffalo Soldier Trail. Stay on BST until you get
to Cherokee, turn right. About a mile later, turn right on East Suma Dr.
Within a block, it takes a sharp bend to the left and becomes S. Wenro Dr.
I am the last , and only house on the left. Loooong driveway leading to the
shop, pull in there and we'll get you level and hooked up.
If you don't want to do that in one shot, there are two good campgrounds in
Albuquerque, both nice. El Rancho, just off I-40, and KOA in central
Albuquerque. We've stayed at both and they are easy in and out, and
quiet. It's gonna be a bit chilly there though.
There are other ways to get here but that is the most direct and is smooth
sailing and the easiest.
We look forward to seeing you guys. Call when you get close: 520-803-0220

Rob,
Last year he had some LED lights that were almost as bright as the 1156's
they replaced and they were the same UV range as the incandescent ones.
Very pleasant light. Not as expensive as the year before, they seem to go
down each year as they become more plentiful.
I will not put one of those "white" bulbs anywhere where I have to look at
food or people. Very harsh light and makes food look terrible and the same
for people. It's warm white or nothing for me and he's got 'em.

We usually stay at a city park just South of the Interstate. Free campground with electrical hookups and water when not turned off. Great view out the back window of the GMC overlooking the small lake.

I replaced the foot lights with LED's from superbriteleds.com some time ago because we leave them on all night. I also replaced the lamps above the cooktop (after some consternation and subsequent help from the net figuring out how to remove the lens). The cooktop lights are not bright enough, but it was an experiment.
Warm whites might be just the ticket for the 6 bulbs in the bathroom. The two little spotlights above the bed, and the cockpit dome lights need something too. I have fluorescents everywhere else and am in no hurry to replace them.
I'd like some kind of gooseneck for the cockpit, but haven't figured out what to do yet.
