Hey everyone, hope you all had a great cheiatmas. I have a new sf30f furnace
for our 1976 Palm beach and have mounted it where the old furnace was
mounted and ran all new duct work. Now to wire it there are two wires for
the thermostat functio on the new furnace and two wires on the harness on
the oem motorhome harness. which wire goes to which or does it matter? Any
info would be helpful thank you.

John,
I haven't torn into mine yet, and you'll probably get a better answer from someone soon, but the thermostat acts like an on-off switch, so the wires should be interchangeable. Either one can go to either terminal.

It doesn't matter which wire goes together. The thermostat is really
just an on and off switch

According to the house 12v wiring diagram the furnace has two yellow wires that go out to a terminal strip (this strip may be internal to the furnace) that then connect to two light blue wires that go to the thermostat. If you are still using the original type thermostat the polarity makes no difference. So to answer your question, it doesn't matter.

Thanks Tim, Teri got some pictures of the snow this morning and I will get them up after a bit. Of course, I was not interested in looking at the snow fall at 830 am. It just stopped after total whiteout here. Dan, if you look back you might find a "star" on the blog that you know.
Dan,
about to turn on SF 30 to warm the bath for a shower
