You should be able to increase the font size that you view right from the email program that you are using on your computer. Maybe some of us can help you.
What email program are you using?

Fred: I don`t know your operating system or which browser you are using? I believe you are on the Forum since there are no adds after your signature. Easiest way is to lower the overall resolution. On the desktop, right click and choose properties, display, depending on the operating system as to how choose a smaller screen resolution. This will make everstuff bigger, but it may not fit the screen and you will have to scroll to see everstuff. This can be done with the arrows on the keyboard also. If you have any trouble, I`m on the Black list, I`d be glad to walk you thru it.

The later versions of explorer have a magnifier on the lower right corner and you can just make the web pages bigger and leave everstuff else as is.

Fred: you can also use the magnifier for small stuff. Click Start, all programs, accessories, ease of acess, magnifier. I use this for stuff like wiring diagrams or to check out details.

That is cool... If you don`t have a roller mouse, hold down control and hit + for bigger and - for smaller.

No problem on the fronts, but on the rear I would not go more than 235.
You will benifit from a larger tire in the area of handling, but they
can tear up your T shirts.

If I stick with 225 on the rear just for the most clearance, can I put 245 on the front with a more aggresive tread than the rear, and what would be the good and the bad of doing this....thanks Brian

You message may be missed since you jumped into (hijacked) an existing thread on a different topic(font size). Send a new message and you'll have your own thread and get better responses.
Incidentally, this was discussed in the last couple of weeks, I think. Search the forum for "245" or "235" and I think you will find it.

Having traveled over million miles in the GMCs I feel that having all
6-7 tires the same is handy when you have fat, blowouts, etc.
If ou need more traction, put more of the load in the mid section and
mybe use the limited slip differential.

I see you are a forum user and not an email user.

If you are using Firefox, click on the "tools" at the top followed by "options" and then "Content"

In Internet Explorer I tried, Clicking on "View" followed by "Text Size" Then largest. For some reason it did not work for me. I'm not normally an IE user so maybe someone else knows better than me how to do it in IE.

235 on the rear works ok.  But, if you have a 73 coach, there is much less space in the wheel wells.  Drop the coach and you will be one inch into the plastic wheel well housing.  Also, 235x85 will lower your gear ratio nearly 10%.  If you have a 370 ratio the taller tires would make it act like a 350.  I have done it and carry two spares so I do not have to put a taller tire on the rear if I loose a front tire.

G'day,

Sorry I don't get it!

Would someone explain to what is gained by using oversize tires?

I also don't understand the search for oversize tires.

I spend all my time trying to get back to OEM stock ,by trying to find tires
that are available and long-lasting ;>)

Me too.

Larger than 225-75R15 may or may not interfere with wheel well liners,
fender flares, etc., but what's the benefit?

Load Range D (LRD) has sufficient load capacity for most GMC's; LRE for all.

Additional tread width MAY slightly increase traction on dry pavement;
on wet pavement it WILL reduce traction.

The diameter of the 225 is close enough to original to cause only
minimum speedometer and drive ratio change.

I just don't think any perceived benefit is worth the hassles.
