Seats 12 plus a cabin host and, presumably, a driver? Holy cow I don't want to know what it would weigh fully loaded. Assuming (kindly in my opinion) 12 x 150lbs that is 1800lbs of people alone. With the bathroom and the air conditioning on top, i'm assuming there is still a genny, furnace and all the holding tanks. Probably not much in the way of weight savings in how it is decked out either. And I thought my wife loaded ours down! We have miles to go before touching that much extra weight...

Thanks,

Pretty cool. If I were there, I'd want to use it.

Definitely should be more comfortable than some of those stretch limos that people drive around in! It's fun to see the extent that they have converted it for it's use.

Have you ever actually tried to get into or out of the seats in the "stretch" section of a limo? Not fun in my book!

Personally, the idea of getting in the tail end of a vehicle and sliding
sideways to let in more people that also have ride sideways seems
ridiculous. Leg room around the entrance also doesn't make sense.

As you can tell I'm too old to be impressed by the glamour of fad.

What a great invitation, would love to take a tour in "Moon Shadow".

I do wonder about their choice of GMC vintage though. The 1973 GMC had a GVW of 10,500 lbs, with 12-14 people, lots of equipment & a trunk on back, it has to be badly overloaded. GVWs were increased over the years and by 1978 it was 2,000lbs GREATER than the 1973. Why does it seem (to me) that the earlier/lighter duty coaches often are the ones that are stretched & modified with heavier loads.
