Got this note from our 'Sunshine Lady', Billie Young. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Quote:

Dearest GMC Family,

My beloved of 49 years & almost 2 months went HOME to be with Jesus this morning about 5:00.

Lanny wanted to be cremated, so his wishes will be carried out. Chris Putnam, from Putnam Funeral Home here in Kingsland will be handling things. We'll have a simple Memorial Service for him there, but I don't know the details yet. God answered our prayers that he not suffer, as SO MUCH has been going on with him. I will advise you as I have further info, but wanted you - our precious "Family" to know right away.

We both love y'all dearly!

Billie

Truly sad news -- we had never met, I knew him through Billie's post on the net.
Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends,

I'm reminded of these words from Revelation 7:16-17:

ŒNever again will they hunger;
   never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,¹
   nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
   will be their shepherd;
Œhe will lead them to springs of living water.¹
   ŒAnd God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.¹

Martha and I will be holding Billy and her loved ones in our thoughts and
prayers this day and for weeks to come.

Truly sad news. They were parked next to us at GMC Internationl at Pueblo several years ago. Lanny helped us with an issue we had with our coach. A real nice gentleman.
Our hearts and prayers go with you Billie.

Teri and I are very saddened by the news. We knew he had taken a turn for the worst. Billie is truly the sunshine lady to all that she meets. We will keep her in our prayers during this tough time. Lanny was a real guy. We enjoyed visiting with him every opportunity we had.

Last summer Lanny jumped into a thread I started about the Revcon.
He wanted to answer my questions on the phone. It took him a while but he finally caught me.

We talked for 45 minutes. I was grateful.

He's the only person on this board I've had a real conversation with. And the only Revcon Refugee. I will miss him.
