Left eastern OKC very early. Before sunrise. Cold,,,,brrrrr. Stoped off at the MH salvage just west of springfield mo. DON"T GO THERE!!!! You will regret it. They let me wonder around loose. Picked up a big trans cooler for 25 bucks off a 36'er with a V10. Loked for velvec mirrors. They want 200 each or 400 per pair. 250 for heated. Seams a little high. They have one GMC. 76 Palm Beach. Rough but looked complete. Got home just before dark and it was 25 degrees,,,,BRRRRRRR. Water was freezing on the ground while winterizing. Will amend the report later. Rode the wing 2000 miles. Thats friday to saturday. 8 days. But we had to wait several days untill after lunch to start. We must have had 3 cold fronts come thru while down there.,,,,,,,,PL

Saw that place when my wife and I were running our eighteen wheeler out west and
always wanted to stop. Don't need to now, ...got everything a simple mind needs.

Happy trails,

Actually, Colaw RV salvage is a lot closer to
Joplin, MO than it is to Springfield.

It's at Exit 22 (Carthage) about 10-12 miles
east of the Joplin exits.

Last year they had a pretty decent GMC sitting there with very minor storm damage. It hadn't been released from the insurance company yet so they had very little info on it. I always wondered what happened to it.
