I ordered a new fuel vapor sep from Jim K. I was wondering the new one I rec'd looks exactly like the old one. I thought I had ordered a improved newer version. Is there such a thing?

The fuel separator that Jim K sells ( http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/792
) is a newer version of the original unit. The original unit is
still available. The 70 thru 74 corvette used the same separator. It
is part#7028035 at your chevy dealer. Corvette specialities shops
also carry it.

We took the liberty of supplying either one.
Original style is easy to mount while the other is difficult to mount
and does not perform any better.

Can I get the more difficult one to mount? The thing I dont like about the original is that the plastic barbs broke on my original. However maybe it was original from 73 I don't know. So if its not much of a issue I don't care either way.
PS: thanks for the fast shipment, I barely hung up the phone with you and the ups man was at my door!
