Wanted to go to the Pensacola Rally, however, more Dr appointments prevent that so I am working on the GMC.
The Sun really has taken its toll on the clearcoat so I decided to refinish using Dupont Ful-Thane Urethane. Waiting for the wind to subside. Using a Binks HVLP.

Trying to install the Innovate LC-1. Have the Gauge mounted, still have to solder all of the connections and install the Bunge.
I guess the next best thing to driving her, is making her look and run better.

It was a beautiful day here in the UP today. Sunny and about 55 degrees. So I took the coach out for the last run of the season. Filled the propane tank and the gas tanks at $2.91. Drove about 10 miles total, came home, changed the oil and winterized it. It was good to drive it again if even for such a short trip. It has been a few weeks. So now it is ready to roll out sometime this winter and head south. Richard is correct, the next best thing to driving is to make them look good and run well. They are good therapy for what ails you. See you down the road.

Where abouts are you in the UP? I spent 5+ years there at KI Sawyer. Was there when the Edmund Fitzgerald went down. That was a nasty storm, we had to move all the planes out to Ohio. I have been back a few times but the base is not the same since the closure. I stayed at the municipal campground out on Presque Isle in Marquette. We are probably headed up that way next summer with the coach, do the Island, the falls and head over to Marquette.

Wayne,
You are probably planning to go through Canada. But, if you have to route over the Machinac Bridge, hang onto your shorts. The toll for a GMC is 13.50 - the same as a Grayhound bus.

I am in Gladstone. I mention this every spring. I have room for a couple of coaches in my driveway with electric hookup so anyone that is passing through is welcome. I have a pit in my garage if needed. The Mackinac bridge is $17.50 one way if you are towing. See you next year.
