Dan,
There you go again, turning the other cheek!
I'll do the same but offer up a different cheek! ;-)
Hmmm, with a handle like "shovelhead" he's probably a rat bag Harley biker

Ya'll can kiss my ass!
That's not nice, not nice at all. Gerald is on the road today so there is no
way he can respond until he gets back home. He lives in NC. We are a happy
sort here so we do not need any foul language. You are welcome to hang
around just be a little nicer.

Roger,
We have two privately owned GMC message systems -- the GMCnet list and the forum. Both have rules for who can join -- in an effort to minimize spam and such. I doubt that you were reported, just that one of the systems was waiting for a real live person to authorize your message to post.
As for the parts, JR is on the road today, returning this evening or tomorrow. Try to email him direct regarding any parts he may have.

Let's see if I can explain this to him.
There are really two concurrent forums or systems running here. One is web based which you are using and one is email based. When a person signs up for one of theses his first note is sent to the moderator of the other one so he can be manually entered into the second system. These systems are run by two volunteers and occasionally it takes more that a day to get a new person completely enrolled. These admins have other lives and full time jobs that take precedence to administrating GMCnet. Also it is the holiday season which probably took more of their time during the last couple of weeks.
I'm assuming you got an automated message from the e-mail system saying for you to wait on the e-mail administrator to enroll you on that system. Just hang in there and it will all be cleared up soon.

Actually, I remember the post(it was a slow week). Turn-around time was
less than one hour.

That apparently was the case...

Well I tried to cover for you in that posting but it looks like I was wrong. You did it almost immediately. I do not know what his problem was but hopefully he will come back knowing we were not trying to chase him away.
