To Rob M. At the airplane museum I'm a member of, in a case, they have a minature propeller marked Hamilton Standard, it's about the size of a ball point pen. Ever seen one ??

Dave,

HS had a give a way letter opener that was a model of Lindberg Propeller. It
was about 10" long.

Rob, thanks. It could be one of those. As it appears to be commercially available, I guess it's not as rare as I thought it might be.
For $39.95, I just might have to have one of those.

Dave,

You're welcome, however, o an eBay search for Hamilton Standard letter
opener and you'll find some cheaper. Be carful there some that have a dome
in the center of the blade, they are not the Lindberg prop!
