How is the brake pedal activator connected to the
power brake booster arm? I can see the head of
the connecting pin, but don't know if is held
by a cotter key or nut. I don't want to cut
away any more plastic than needed. Is there
a better way to access the nuts that hold the
booster?

If I remember correctly it is a pin with a cotter key through it.

I just did the job, I have some pics (not much help) will try to post
today. the booster has the 4 boltsthrough the firewall. The brake
pedal bar is connected to the booster by the bolt on the bolt is 2
washers and the cotter pin. the cotter pin was the hardest part of the
job for me. i tried to push it out with a screwdriver and the bolt
just spun. took some patience. good luck. it was a lot easier than i
thought it would be. also to get the bolts loose i purchased a flex
head 9/16 wrench. that helped alot.

Do not tell Ken H. that. I'm sure he will find some reason that I'm wrong.

I tried. Trouble is, I just replaced one 2-3 weeks ago and had a darned
cotter pin too! Can't figure out how to remember it differently. :-(

Hey, We got up this morning to 3" of snow. It did not melt off all day. It's time for you to get your skis and come up here for a visit. You will have to do it in a hurry as the temp all next week is supose to be in the middle 60's.
