Fred,

What did you mean by 5/8"

Is that the size of the head of the camera portion?

Oops, I had a confoosed moment, I thought it was for a bore sight kit. Oops. Actually that scope looks like it could be quite useful...

yes, i just checked it. i won't fit in a spark plug hole but it dose have a good enough focal length to look from the outside and see the piston top and valves when they are open. i plan to have a look at mine when i change plugs.

I have one and have found it easy to use and useful - my old skeleton isn't as flexible as it used to be.

I have used it successfully to look for things like shower plumbing inside my GMC's walls.

with mine the display isn't lined up square with the camera and it is awkward to figure out what i'm looking at on screen.

You can:
1) twist the camera/probe so it is oriented like the display
2) remove the display from the camera/probe and orient it any way you like - there's a wireless link between the camera and display.

It helps me to twist the camera/probe so that "up" on the camera corresponds to the handle orientation before inserting the camera into a blind space.

i tried to turn it but was afraid i would mess it up so i stopped. i'll try again.
thanks,
