Does anyone have an old Dometic RM760 refrigerator? My coach has a nice working one, but there are no shelves on the doors. There are slots that make it look like there should be some, but none came with my coach.

Any photos would be helpful as I would like to replace them, but I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. I'll try to contact National RV Refrigeration to see if they have any old ones around that they could salvage parts from. Alternatively, if anyone knows of other salvage yards where I may be able to find parts for the old frige, I'd appreciate the leads.

Thanks,
George

Dometic's have used the same door shelf system for many years. You should be able to find any number of them which have been scraped and the door shelves should fit just fine. Go to any RV repair facility and ask if they have any around which are bound for the dumpster.

National RV Refrigeration is a good idea. I stopped by there and visited with Leon last week, and he has a LOT of used refrigerators around the shop and in his warehouse. I gave him two of my Dometic fridges last summer when I decided to use a house type unit (compressor type).

He is also starting to service the Norcold compressor type refrigerators, similar to the original models used in the GMC.

Leon is wanting to sell his home and move closer to Shipshewana. His present location is very hard for customers to find, especially when they try to use GPS, which leads them all over the place. Leon said he has been fighting this problem for several years and finally decided the best thing would be to move to a better location.

I remember the top three rules for a successful retail business:
1 - location
2 - Location
3 - LOCATION

I guess that still holds true....

I have a non working Dometic in my 65 Boles Aero. Send me a picture of what you have, and maybe some measurements and I'll go check it out.

send to uscgphoto at gmail dot com

If digital cameras are too much for you, send a phone pic to 252-339-6396 but my phone has a tiny screen.

Location, location, location. I thought that was in real estate? From the
marketing world I would asks my guys what the three most important things
were - they responded with location, location, location - in a firm and
convincing tone. I would look across the table at them - especially the
newbies and said it was SELL, SELL, SELL!!! Now go forth and SELL

Thanks, it looks like I may have found some (thanks to the Black lister). If that doesn't work out, I'll call back.

Thanks for all the replies,

George
