What's a good, cheap solution for non-shoulder seatbelts? I got my
current set up out of a van with the shoulder belt, automated retractor
and the long plastic wrapped receiver belt that stops me from having to
reach to the floor to buckle up. That said, I never did get around to
installing the shoulder anchor and have decided not to it at all so I am
looking for a simple lap belt with retractor and that long plastic
receiver belt common to most vans.

I bought from; http://www.andoauto.com/seat_belts.htm
I know they sell all types, i just had to outfit my belts in the
living area's.
as for cost, i don't remember what it cost.... i did 5 belts, i don't
remember being shocked at the $$$

On the flip side of Mark's request, I spoke with a gentleman at Du Quoin who had shoulder harness belts in his coach. It was the second day of Open House, on Sewer Row and I cannot remember who it was. He had detailed information about how he located the self tapping bolt that holds the shoulder portion.

Let the detraction begin. First with the picture of the blowed-up GMC
that rolled and the owners survived sitting in the upright seats who
would have been cut in half by attached shoulder belts...
I'd really like to see the pictures of the various drivers who have
bounced their face off the steering wheel in simple fender benders,
though...

Oh, no argument from me. I will take the seat belts _and_ the shoulder harness. Have them in my '37 Ford pickup and of course all our real cars.
Reminds me of the old guy who didn't want to wear lap belts when they first came out. "He would rather be thrown clear."
Don't worry, you will be, right through the windshield.
