I would suggest Auto Zone for Carbon Friction pads. Just get pads for a 76 olds Tornado. Some folks like ceramic pads and some like Carbon Friction which is my choice.

Where can I locate front brake pads for my 1976 Edgemont? My parts store
cannot find them.
Thanks

It is a standard GM brake pad used on my GMC cars of that era. Ask for front pads of a 75 Toronado. Take an old set with you if you are afraid of getting the wrong parts. I like Ceramic and Performance Friction pads.

Ray and Verna,
First - Welcome to the group/cult/asylum.
Next - Join GMCMI (yes, you have to join FMCA too, but together that is less than a fill-up). When join you GMCMI, you will get a parts interchange book that has numbers for available parts that will/might be needed to keep the coach in good operating condition. You will also get access to a treasure of experience based information via the website.
Your profile does not give any where you are, but you could probably hook up with a local group just for camaraderie and maybe the odd helping hand (nothing quite like a native guide).
You signed onto the list in 2006, in 2008 you asked about the coaches for sale sites. It would appear that you found one. Did you register it with Dave Greenberg??
And lastly, I don't know how much of the group you have read, but I come from a background that takes the arrival of a new vessel or owner very seriously, so I offer this paraphrase of the traditional greeting to the new owner or vessel.
May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those the set forth within her.
Welcome Dave and Verna
How long have you had the coach and where are you located??

There is probably no better place to any question about a coach.
I would say even better than a dealership when they did support coaches.
