Tim,
In order to view the technical information on the Member only section
you will need to join GMCMI. Seminar presentations at GMCMI rallies
are property of GMCMI. Not to start a war, but that is the way life
is and not everything is free. This would be your opportunity to join
GMCMI and have access to all the Technical data on the site, 4
newsletters a year along with the part interchange book. The part
interchange book in it self is worth the price of admission.

just excellent Emery

I just wish all of the presenters would do this , would really be good for
the "silent Majority" who never get to attend the rallys.
but
brings up a cuppa questions.

1- I really like you schematics of how things are plumbed, and I wonder
where this little sucker (restrictor) is located in the carbon canister
circuit?

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=13483&cat=4192

this is the one Kelvin found, and Arch also found this little bastard
plugging his vent circuit when it filled with rust.

and

2- If we used the JimB technique of hooking the two tanks together at the
drain plugs, would we only need one pump in one of the tanks, and only one
sender ?

------------------------
old jimB post
---------------------
On fuel injected coaches, I toe a crossover between the drains of the tanks
to allow sharing of fuel right to the bottom which actually negates the need
for 2 senders.

3- Your pix of the hard line connections to the tanks, is just outstanding.

congrats again

I'm really interested in this JimB technique of tying both drains
together and will be implementing it this winter. The Stretch has only
one sender (Main tank) that is working, so I always fill up when I get
to around 200 miles (usually add 23 gallons or so) and my gauge is
reading about half empty (can we really trust a gas gauge?). Just
hoping that the transfer from one tank to the other through that small
gas line hack is quick enough to keep up with the engine pulling gas
out of the tank.
