Paul,
What part do you need? The mirror head has been reported as available at parts stores and truck stops.
I have extra bases, the part that bolts to the coach -- as far as I know they are interchangeable right to left. The extra arms I have may be rusted but if you wanted to paint them they might be ok.

Hmm. I really only need the mirror head. I had been told the mirrors were unique to the GMC. I will look around locally.

Paul,
I think I got a replacement mirror head at Autozone or someplace like that. They were used on Chevy & GMC pickups in the early or mid 70's. But, the replacement I got was made of much thinner material than the stock one, and had a lot of shake in it. Finally, the rubber that holds the glass in started falling out of it after about two years. In the meanwhile, I had picked up a set of original GMC ones off e-bay. Just put the original GMC one back on, and haven't driven it yet, but it definitely feels more solid on the mount.

Paul,
my '79 Dodge PU also had the same head, used to be available many parts houses. You can also get replacement glass at parts houses.

Britax makes a replacement for the OEM mirror head. It is a little larger, flat black in body color. P.O. put them on my coach. I've replaced them with Ramco.
