OK - this can't be this complicated. Re: my onboard LP tank. I have a small gas grill that connects to an accessory Tee on my LP tank. The connection is similar to the small throw away cannister connections. The grill works fine.

That is not the problem. I want to be able to connect my onboard LP tank to use a standard gas grill hose with the regulator built into the line. This would power a fish cooker or turkey fryer.

I've asked at the local propane store and at Camping World. No body seems to be able to figure this out. Could I make a hose up with a copper joint and clamps? Since pressure could be regulated at the tank, the pressure on the line should be very low.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want to blow the wife to "Kingdom Come" Thanks

I added a device called Extend A Stay that will allow adding a large stand
alone bottle or using the existing tank to be used as you have outlined.

Stick,

Take a picture of the existing accessory Tee and post it to the photo site.
If you don't know how to do that send it to me.

I also installed an Extend a Stay fitting. There are two. I got the one that allows both, an external bottle so I never have to move the GMC to fill a tank. And, it has the external hookup so I can hook a grille to it. Pretty slick gadget. I think all motorhomes need this thing.

here are some links that might help

I also wanted an outlet for my LP tank. I bought the following from Camping
World and inserted in to a T between the tank and the regulator. I use the
regulator in the appliance I'm using.

I think I got the idea from Arch's setup so I give him credit.
