need to pull the motor in a gmc motor home? This is how i did it.
i fabricated a hoist that goes right inside the motor home and will move the motor right out the door. I spent a lot of time building this and I am will to let others that need it rent it from me. Very Nice. But, I agree, remove the front seats. That is what we did when we removed my engine from the top.

It looks like you did the move in 3 steps using the same hoist each time:
In the door from outside.
Down the aisle
Up the step and down in the hole.

I dont feel the seats where in the way to much. I dont think I would say they needed to be taken out. almost all the work was done nealing on the step.

I should say the reson this motor needed to be pulled is the oil pickup got cloged with sluge cheated by the intake exaust crossover. It was a good running motor. I am glad that I rebuilt it it runns great now.

I am located south of buffalo, NY in Derby.
