I find it interesting that people report more frequent odor when the tank is nearly empty . This would suggest to me that the leak would be somewhere, like a valve, that is threaded. Under higher pressure the threads might be forced together, but not so much under low pressure. I don't know if it makes any sense but if the leak were a hole in a tube or pipe I can't think of a way that low pressure would cause a greater leak than high pressure.

This doesn't explain Dan's leak of a full tank in 2 weeks, though.

<sigh> Maybe someday I'll actually have a useful answer for y'all...

Thanks Larry. It took a couple of months to leak down. I am not giving up yet.

I guess this discussion begs the question: "Do we need LP leak detection devices in our coaches?" There is one in my coach and either it doesn't work or I have a constant LP leak. Seems to me at the very least a plug-in or hard wired device that emits a warning would be desirable. An automatic gas shut off device would be optimal.

We all, hopefully, have fire and smoke alarms in our houses. Most have CO detectors. I think I'd like all of the above when I'm sleeping in a 26' capsule. Especially after an Ambien and a couple of glasses of Merlot.
