My 2 year old Suburban SF-30 gas furnace stop working, I have a full propane tanks & gas is getting to furnace. I have 2 20 pound tanks in the propane compartment. It worked once but now it runs for 20 seconds & shuts down. any suggestions? thanks bill

My Suburban is obstinate after it's been sitting for a month or more. I think it may be that the propane has leaked down or lost it's kindling point (if that's possible). I usually run the stove burners for a few minutes and give it another try. Has worked every time so far. BTW my furnace is about 4 years.

Any chance some of your air vents are blocked causing the furnace to overtemp and shut down?

For clarification: is the furnace lighting or is it just the fan running? In other words, is the fan running, not senseing heat, and shutting down. That is what I read into your original post and hence my above reply.

I'm using the new 20# tanks in my coach with only the above mentioned issue.. Does the stove light? Are the furnace and stove on the same line?

I too have a SF-30 now 5 years old, on the second season I had to pull the unit to clean/adjust the ignitor/flame sensor. And it's time again to do it. I can tell because the unit won't start unless I restrict the air into the combustion chamber by partially covering the inlet outside the coach. The unit will start and run as long as I reduce the air flow... time to adjust the ignitor/flame sensor.
A real bugger to extract from under the sink. This time around I'm going to cut an access lid into the top of the furnace so that I can clean and adjust the unit in place.

Sounds like something in your "flame sensing curcuit."
The sensor is on the same assembly as the "sparker."
There is a manual on bdub's site for the correct part names  and correct set up.
