When looking for a way to put the cruise control buttons onto the steering wheel, I found this:

<http://tiny.cc/mxa94>
or
<http://www.dinodirect.com/Wireless-Receiving-Remote-Control-System-XY-K4-DC-XY04/AFFID-20.html>

Could be used to provide remote leveling... if you tap it into one of the Electro-Level systems.

I bet some here could find some very interesting uses.

Mike,

That's exactly what I've been using to control my Electromotor II cruise
control for about 2 years. Using the 2-channel version. Works great.

I also bought a bunch of the single channel version for emergency call
buttons. My mother is in an assisted living facility. It's pretty old and
their nurse call system is operated by corded pendants which use 1/4" phone
plugs to connect the pendants to the wall call box. When she fell and broke
her hip, she had a terrible time getting to the help call button.

I bought 12 VDC "wall warts" for power supplies and 1/4" phone cords to
connect to the receiver's relay to the wall call box. Mother wears the
remote control (a more slim, attractive one than shown) on a necklace all
the time except in the bath.

After a long period of trying to get the facility to promote and sell them
since they have several tenants per day fall, they finally decided that they
approved of individuals buying and using them. But they won't sell them.
So I'm going to distribute them myself. The first lady to buy one, last
week, needed it twice the first day. I recode them so that there will never
be two responding to the same code.
