In an effort to capture information on the ac compressor tools that are used for the clutch R/R I am working on a photo album.
I did not want to duplicate anything that has been done -- when I did the project I found info in a number of different places.
Not finished as I still need to photo the special tool required to reinstall the outer clutch plate.
It took me a fair amount of time/trips to gather all that was needed so hopefully this will spare someone else.
Would appreciate any input edits as it is a work in process.

With input from BobB I have made some edits and added the last special tool required to press the clutch plate back onto the AC compressor shaft. Along with part number and sources I have added current prices. Note that several of the tools are available for loan from AutoZone with a deposit -- equivalent to the sale price. Most of the tools were new -- not many people undertaking this task? -- except for the large puller. Not all stores have all tools.
The maintenance manual has a nice write-up, but the tools are all GM numbers.
Setting the air gap between the clutches was a little fuzzy -- I set it at .020 inch using feeler gauges.
Any further suggestions -- please let me know.
