Looks like a Vixen. They were BMW powered pushers, and the only other motorhome that ever appealed to me. I guess I like those small, "sporty" type of motorhomes, not the big square ones!

Yep a vixen. the 86 models could be had with a Buick 3.8 V6 and auto trans. Think supercharged!!! If you go to the website, there is an interesting story as to how the company was formed and financed. The late 80's recession killed it, but it was a noble effort.

I had a look at one at a gas station right after I bought my GMC. We were both fueling up. Very boat-like inside. A lot of fiberglass, but cool. It was seeing a vixen, not knowing what the hell it was that got me on the web and then I found the GMC's.

Manual trans were BMW turbo diesel and automatics were the 3.8 naturally aspirated. They handled well but the interiors tended to fall apart. It was the second and possibly the 3rd attempt by retired GM engineers to build a motorhome.

I know that others have stated it is a "Vixen" motorhome
and have provided a bit more info. I think it is a really
neat looking coach!

One of my neighbors had one for quite a few years, and that fueled my desire for the GMC. They were quite small and tight inside, but did fit inside a standard garage. I guess a good cross between a GMC and a VW Microbus!

Technically they were interesting but they were a marketing disaster. They weren't good at much of anything compelling to campers or RV'rs.
