Does anyone live within walking ???(g) distance to DJ Eberhart
(503-706-6402). He has a coach listed (Crusaders Site) and a local friend is
interested and has been in contact with him.
If anyone knows of him or could do a quick inspection, we'd/I'd appreciate
it. You can get back to me here.

The name of the NW GMC group is the Cascaders (after the Cascade Mountains).
No matter, DJ does a lot of GMC work for folks not inclined to work on thier own coachs.I have not personally had DJ do any work for me but he has a stellar reputation here in the Northwest.
BTW I was in Nova Scotia for a quick visit earlier this month (didn't have my GMC). Still as beautiful as ever.

I think I am about the closest. I have never met DJ and would like to.
I see that DJ has two coaches listed on the CASCADERS web site: a 1974 Eleganza SE for $11,500 (OBO) and a 1976 Glenbrook
for $4,000.

What type of coach is your friend looking for? A "core," a "could be used but needs work," or a "needs nothing ready to roll and has a warranty"? (I suspect the Glenbrook is a "core" and the SE is a "user.")
How much of an inspection is your friend looking for? I am not ready to commit to a full "tear down inspection" but I'll put eyes on the coach, walk though and take some pictures. I might even be talked into driving it. 
Does your friend live near you? Seems odd everyone looks at coaches on the other side of the continent.

appears that if I had spent one more year boring the daylights out of
classrooms of students, I would have been able to distinguish between
Cascaders and Crusaders !
