While redoing the window rubbers I decided to pull the sliding glass to clean the portion that runs in the plastic track. You have to pull out the lower plastic track to get the sliding glass out and upon cleaning the slot I noticed some shinny bits. Soon I found out they were the remnants of the slots that were cut into the frame for draining. One was actually lined up in the slot and could not be seen from above but I found it by running a window trim clip tool into the slots and now finally have clear fast window drain slots. Every time I washed the GMC I was always amazed at the amount of dirt that came out but I had to flush trough the slot many times to get it to drain clear but it alway drained slowly. Now running water into the slot from above drains out just as fast.
