This photo shows something I hope I never need to use. It is called a 'Fire Port' West Marine #3734454. It allows you to visually inspect the motor compartment for fire without opening the hatch and adding oxygen to a fire. You can also insert a fire extinguisher through the opening.

Jim, I got that covered with the glass hatch and the automatic fire extinguisher.

I hope you don't need to use it either! I don't want to have to run that many blocks carrying a fire extinguisher when i see the smoke from burning fiberglass on the horizon.
