This must be macerator repair week. I had my Jabsco out the other day because it was blowing fuses. It was a fairly easy job as the PO mounted it in a three inch rubber "Y".  Hair and stuff was under the impeller which appeared to be forcing it against the SS plate. I thought I had a bearing going bad but every thing now turns easy. I also found the ground wire was corroded at it's frame mount so this may have had something to do with the problem as well. I did the job before I saw these posts so I didn't lube the impeller before assembly. I may try the olive oil trick.
The poop pump is now back in operation and I feel much better - ahhh.
