That's pretty close to how I usually pronounce it, at least after two or
three false starts. Those m's and n's just don't want to come out in the
right order. But the news reporter I heard this morning must have heard the
local instruction (as recounted to me by Larry) to start with "many money"
and go from there to Menomonie. That should fit the president's agenda
pretty well.

Ahhh....well, wrong Menomonie. There are actually 4 of them in Wisconsin area.

Menomonee (note spelling change from Menomonie) Michigan on the border of Michigan/Wisconsin on east side of state.

Menomonee indian Reservation on east side of state.

Menomonee Falls which is NW of Milwaukee.

and Menomonie WI on west side of state where we live.

Not sure where the Pres visited, but it wasn't here in Menomonie.
