If you use a wrecker caution them to watch the radiator.
It hangs down below everything else on the front end.
Local wrecker drivers say they are not responsible for
radiator damage unless they are warned. Radiator
might be gone with the front clip.

Sounds like you will have to have it towed.
Use a wrecker with a lift that can reach under the front large crossmember. They usually put their lift under the tires but you apparently have no tires!
Tell them that your coach weighs about 12,000 pounds and that the front is about 4000 pounds.

I might advise to get a set of 1/4" schrader valves and put directly in each rear air bag to get her back end off the ground.

I should know a lot. I have owned my Gmc for 29 years now. I was the
tech VP for GMC Western States for about three years and wrote
quarterly tech newsletters during that time.
I then became the Membership Manager, Convention Manager, newsletter
Editor for GMC Motorhomes International for four years and wrote many
tech articles during that time.
I don't have an answer for everything but I can usually give you an
answer or tell you where to find it.

I HAVE HAD 5 CLASS A'S SINCE 1994 BUT NEVER A GMC.I HAVE REDONE THE
INTERIORS OF OUR LAST
TWO,I'VE BEEN A CAR NUT ALL BY LIFE,RACED FOR 3 YRS BACK IN THE LATE 60'S
THAN STARTED MY BUSINESS

Hey, If he's got english cars, he is already familiar with chasing
electrical problems. That is half the battle, then all he has to do is
brakes, steering, front & rear suspension, interior and living spaces, and
AC. Should have that thing done in, OH maybe 6 or 7 yrs. Ha!

JIm,
Yes, electrical problems from the Prince of Darkness ( Lucas) and what about
chasing oil leaks? The GMC should be a piece of cake - and oh yes - water
leaks. i would say he brings a lot of experience!

If the tires are old and dry rotted,What are the chances of them heating up and blowing out within the hundred mile tow,causing major damage to the vessel as well as more of an expense with the tow guy having to wait for new tires (His time)?
Dont know much about anything,just a question.

Check into using a flatbed or loadall trailer to haul it. Old tires (old in this case is 7 yrs) can and do or will blow out.

I get the impression that the coach is missing the front clip. If so, it would be pretty hard to move the coach without putting SOMETHING in it's place.
