When you are traveling near the South Bend, Indiana area, please consider
staying at South Bend East KOA, www.southbendkoa.com. This campground is
owned and operated by active GMCers, Thomas Jetzer and Patricia Schenk.
They usually winter down in South Texas and always join us at our winter
rally. As is usual for GMCers, they are the best folks. I'm sure they'll
make your stay a memorable one.

I just got this not from Patricia that prompted me to let everyone know, .
Can you tell it was a '60s theme?:

Hi funky and groovy people

Can you dig it?

We had a blast over the weekend with our Vintage Trailer Rally. We had
approx 52 Classic Campers here, the weather was cooperating too. Al
Hesselbart from the RV hall of Fame gave his best presentation about the
pioneers of the RV industry and Lucy and the long log trailer is always a
success! Followed by marshmallow roasting and meet and greet. We had
hundreds of people coming out to see the Vintage Campers on Saturday and we
had a very good party on Saturday night. The band which was playing live was
just awesome groovy! As far as I know the last one went to bed at around
4.30 in the MORNING after a live performance of a mandolin and bass palyer
spontaneous at the wagonmasters site and a funky chips and salsa bar! Do I
love those Jalapenos! We served breakfast, had an ice cream socials with
waiting lines I have never seen before and our Vintage Soda pop company came
out and gave away free samples of their Soda pops! Even the Studebaker
museum showed up with a display booth! It was all in all a huge success and
we would like to thank everybody who was more or less involved with the
Vintage Trailer rally for their engagement and time they spent to make it
possible! And we will do it again. We are already sold out for the rally in
2011! Reserve your dates July 29 to July 31st 2011, if you want to be part
of it or just come out to enjoy these precious things and their unique
owners. Man what a crowd! It was just Groovy and funky! Peace! Make love
not war!

Can you dig it?

Happy kamping

Lots of neat photos were included. I'm sure she'd share them with you if
you'd request them from her.

These two are really great folks, like bdub said. Can you tell, by the typing, that they are immigrants? Legal too, from Europe. They are funny. We had a great time with them in Tx. I think ES may have a gathering at their KOA. Sometime in the future. Can't wait to visit them next time I am in their area.
