Karen

Oil prices are not seeing any real pressure and may come down with the supplies soon to come on-line as the result of off-shore drilling in Cuba by Spanish and Chinese companies.
Mexico is building refineries because Aruba and Brazil can no longer supply their demand. They are supposed to be exploring now that equipment was freed up form US contracts that were canceled.

Evil Forces? That depends on your political point of view.

What is happening is Cap and Trade (S-1733) that is projected/supposed to raise motor fuel prices by 1~1.50/gal in tax burden only and the Carbon Use Tax (HR-1337) that somewhat less (but the numbers are not all locked in yet) and may also bring the industrial economy to its knees in short order.

I don't know where all of this will lead, but I have read what the people that are usually correct are saying and it is not good for the RV or any other discretionary expense based segment.
