Anyone know if it was a completely different frame or a modified original one? The VIN appears to be State issued "assembled/modified vehicle" one. Maybe the TZE number is still on the frame. If so, David would know what happened to that # GMC for the Registry.

It came from the factory with a 454 long after 455s were out of
production.
It doesn't have a TZE VIN and is not a GMC. Silver coach made them as
new-not from donor GMCs.

Interesting fact. That explains a lot.
Did they get extra end caps, etc. from GMC after production ended?
