I've dis-assembled my fantastic fan but am unable to remove the fan itself
from the motor. I have removed the 'set screw' but still no 'come off'...

Maybe I didn't have to get this carried away cleaning....trying to get the
inner circle of the Lexan fan back to factory condition without the 20 years
of dust and general crap build up!

Suggestions please..and thanks again !

Call or email the Fantastic factory. My old fan was getting some
hairline cracks around the hub. I could not get it loose from the
motor shaft.

I called the factory and they sent be a new blade and a new motor at
no charge.

Great company!

They really need to put two screens on that thing. usually you can reverse it and blow the dead bugs out, but I have a moth that is stuck to the leading edge of the blade... Rolling Eyes

They do make a kit with a removable screen. You can retrofit your fan to it. I believe that it is held in place by magnetic strips.
This makes it simple to clean.
