Yes

I have used it for years in many gasoline and diesel vehicles and motorcycles.

As far a I can tell my coach has only seen Rotella since new in 1976. My coach only had 2 PO's and one of them only had it for a year. The PO that bought it new shows only using Rotella in the records I have.

Just guessing as I don't have a new Rotella T white in hand to look at, but this appears to be 'dated' data. I would bet the current shelves are stocked with CJ-4/SM, which should have a supplemental zinc additive added to it to get the level back up. In my garage I have 2 BLUE jugs of Rotella T full synthetic 5W-40 from different times and the older stuff is CI-4/SL and the newer is CJ-4/SM so I bet the same is true for the Dino white jug. In short, even the new Diesel oil is shy on ZDDP whether Dino or full synth from the way I read it.

You are correct. That is why I stocked up a couple of years ago just before the change. That is why I posted it here at the time so people could stock up. Still at 800 ppm instead of 1200 ppm he should be OK unless he is breaking in a new engine.

A second point is the new white bottle (dino) and new blue bottle (synthetic) have the same 800 ppm content.
