Some while back, a link was listed that would lead you to an

alternative to the expensive screen door option.

I tried to go there today, but that link has become useless.
With a little exploration, I found the following. One of our

members stated they were going to buy THREE of them.

I wonder if that member ever passed feedback to the list.

I don't know if I mentioned it at the time, but I did order 3. I got one put in the coach, but the install is not complete because I have not quite figured out how to work the bottom edge. It does work pretty well as it is, but I needs to be better at the floor.

When(if) I do, I will tell the group, but today I am buying parts to make the cab AC work again.

I bought three because I wanted one for the coach, one to repair a portable screen house and one for spare so I could mes up one of the others.

My wife ordered 3 of those a while back and last weekend she installed
one on the front door. It works great. I was out working on the GMC
and didn't even know she was doing the install until it was done. I
like projects like that.............Terry

I have seen those or a variation of those door screens.
Just put some wieghts of some sort along the bottom to hold the screen to the floor and keep those invaders out...

Of course if you are considering dogs trying to get out, you might need to be able to hook it on both sides, but I think it would be easier to get one of those decorative screens and use like a lower half door for that.

My Greyhounds are right at the door when I open it so you really need something to hold em while you thwart their escape.....

LarC ( Also considering that door that is being examined )

You can make a screen that will work fine and it doesn't have to be magnetic.
Get a piece of fiberglas screen fabric that is about 6" or so wider than the door opening and 8" or more longer than the door opening height.
.
Sew a pocket at the top and another at the bottom. Fasten a small cafe rod above the door opening at the inside. Put the rod through the top pocket of the material. Put a length of metal chain in the bottom pocket and fasten the chain at each end of the pocket opening (just stitch it with needle and thread).
Then when you open your door just drop the fabric out of the door. It will cover the door opening at each side and the weight of the chain will keep it tightened against the outside of the motorhome.

Very easy to pull it to one side to get in and out of the motorhome. Inexpensive and works fine.
