If any of you guys are interested in a good donor car for a Caddy 500
swap, here is one I will sell for $100.00
Rust and dent free. Runs, reverse works, fwd does not. Rebuilt carb
with one mile on it, new waterpump with one mile on it. YOU come and
get it.
My wife wants it OUTTA here yesterday. Always covered. Clean title
and keys. Skirts and hood ornament stored separately, new spare tire.
Here's the car:

Why don't you just cut the front clip off it and scrap the rest. Tip the
front vertical like it's buried and use it for yard art right next to those
concrete gnomes you have.

I have to start drinking rum. I just never think of stuff like that
Gary. I'm pretty unimaginative. Thanks for the great tip but the car
is just too nice to cut up, which was one of my earlier intentions.

Jim,
Buy a rusty, but good mechanically, pickup, drive by here and get
a tranny and all the stuff to change it.
Go to Arizona and change the tranny at Steve's place and drive
home, leaving the pickup behind.
How's that for a brilliant plan?

Gary,
You drink rum too. I must be missing something here. Gotta try the stuff.
