I have committed to GMCWS rally in Vegas (Oct 17-22). A trip to Treasure Island October 7-11th will allow me to go home and do laundry between events. Some people may be short on time and for others, Vegas is a long drive. Some people may prefer to go on a shorter trip and spend less of the kids inheritance, others may have to watch the grand-kids, but put me down as, "yes, but subject to approval of the person who washes the pants in the family".

Here's an update...
Someday, a full-blown "rally" out here will be great. Right now I'm
just planning an opportunity to share our island with you on a great
weekend to be here, Fleet Week. I'm told that it's going to be a lot
bigger this year than before. So we'll have just a casual get-together
with whoever wants to come. There's a lot of level parking lots out
here but I'm trying to get the one that will give us all a full view of
the bay and the city.
I'm securing the space for Thursday night through Sunday morning. Not
sure if I'll be able to swing power hookups, most likely not but we'll
be in a space where generators won't disturb anyone else. I'll find out
more after the weekend and I'll keep you posted.

It's a great idea and we're really sorry to miss it. We will be on a cruise
on the East Coast with a bunch of our local club members from the GMC Forty
Niners.
Please consider joining the GMC Forty Niners and getting our newsletter
with the schedule of events etc.
The Forty Niners will be holding their 34th. Anniversary Rally at Mariners
Square Marina, Alameda CA on the 12th. 13th. & 14th. of November. The Rally
will include a Yacht dinner/dance/cruise, tours of the USS Hornet and
Rosenblum winery and more.
We do have guest spaces available.
