John Nichols pulled out an old rad. to put in his coach. we looked into the hose necks and saw a good bit of calcium build up in the cross tubes so John took it to a shop for a rodding job. they pulled a tank end off and called to say it was so plugged that they could not rod it out. they said they no longer boil radiators.
John picked it up and started pouring vinegar into the tubes. after several days the calcium dissolved and he was able to push a plastic wire tie into the tubes. it looked like the blockage was just at the ends. he took it back the the rad. shop and they were able to rod it out and flow test it. we will install it Thurs.
just for your information. might save you 800 bucks.
