A while back(way back) we had a discussion on front pads and rear
shoes. I remember Arch had some special color (orange or yellow) that
he was trying out and was very happy with. I have gone all thru my
wayback machine and can't find a thing. Can any one help
me??..........Terry

Not quite. The first test series indicated that they might be 10% more
effective. The second series 4-5000 miles later indicated they might be 10%
less effective than the Performance Friction pads to which I compared them.
Either of those sets of figures is within the range of testing error so I
don't place a lot of credence in them; I'd call them comparable in
performance.
The yellow pads do FEEL better, at least when cold. But in my experience
they're not nearly as durable and don't have as good a warranty as PF.

The Yellow pads that are installed on a standard 6 wheel brake system seems
to work very well. On the 6 disk units we bet very good bite by installing
them on the rear center and the front.
Since they are ceramic they bite well when cold.
They do not have a lifetime warranty, but our customers feel that they are
worth it.
