Does anyone have experience with an original Brake Buddy in a 3400 lb towd?
I am interested in the sensitivity setting.

Thanks

Jim,
We set ours to light 4 of the red led and 40psi. We tow a 3340lb Corvette with manual 4 wheel disc brakes. At this setting the toad brakes only come on when needed. Would not tow without the extra brakes.
I have installed a n/o switch on he GMC dash that is wired to the breakaway switch. My reasoning is if you loose the brakes on the GMC there is nothing to bring on the toad brake. This switch allows me to energize the Brake Buddy.

Jim, we tow an HHR and I have the Brakebuddy setting on 6 so that the
Brakebuddy comes on early and I don't have to apply so much pressure to the
coach brake. Works pretty good.

Jim,
Sensitivity is set on 6 on mine. We lost the front brakes on a
mountain road and as ineffective as the rears are, it was just enough
to set off the toad brakes and saved out butts.
