A while back someone posted pics on the Photo site of an adapter they
made to help in fueling. I remember ABS pipe parts that create a better
fit when fueling with a nozzle that has rubber "bellows" on it.

Ring a bell? I had to fight one of those a while back and I intended to
make this adapter but never got around to it. Would be nice to have for
my trip next week. Going to be filling the rig at least three times...

PS: I found the "water noodle" version on Gene's site. Might work but
not what I'm after...

Take a look at my photos on GMC photo site under ABS some thing or other?
I'm not good at transferring the photos over to the email from that site.

I use the "Water Noodle" every time I fill up. Actually it was left
over pipe wrap insulating tube that I cut to about an inch or two. It
works great and I just leave it in the gas cap area. I worried that it
would decay, so I kept a length of the stuff under the seat. It's not
yet been effected by gas and this is about 7 months now.

Works for me.
