Ooooh this is hard to do.

For longer than I care to admit, I've been working on trying to get our coach back on the road - but I've finally come to the rather heartwrenching realization that I don't have enough money or free time to continue in that direction, and I have to throw in the towel. Our youngest one just turned 4, the Camping Years are upon us and we cannot wait any longer. So we decided to be travel trailer folks for a while.

So, I am selling my basket case of a GMC Motorhome project. It's strictly for the mechanically inclined - on the plus side you get 2 complete engines, one more or less running, the other rebuildable. I'm not even sure what to ask for it, really. I won't bother everyone with the lengthy details, but if anyone is interested feel free to get in touch with me...

I will certainly miss this wonderful community. I have mostly been a lurker on here, but I have saved every message since I came on - so far the count is over 77,000.

I hope that someone is willing to continue the refurbishment on the coach. It looks like a nice project, but sometimes you do run out of time. I hope you enjoyed the project while you were working on it. I find it therapeutic to work things out on old vehicles, better than a shrink's couch!

Mine is two years running so far, and I'm only now getting into the actual interior refubishment phase.

Enjoy the kids while they're young, they do grow up fast.

Well, we got our trailer this week so it's definitely time to move on with this... Sad as it is.

I updated my album with current pictures - for what they are.

It's very rough, but fairly complete. I'm considering selling it for something around $3,000 - which I hope is relatively reasonable. I am of course announcing this here first - in case anyone is interested, let me know...
