Per a request, I've just uploaded a wiring diagram for dual fuel pumps to
eliminate the fuel tank selector valve. It's in .pdf format.

Especially since this was just now completed, please review it carefully and
recommend corrections or improvements.

Under your note about combiner installation that would only be true if the isolator was removed. If the Isolator is still installed the method you show would still be OK. I would suggest note read "If isolator was removed and replaced by a combiner a low oil pressure switch must be used."

Ken,
Thanks for the Drawing. It makes the phone explanation much clearer.
I didn't plan on putting you to that much work.I only expected a rough
hand sketch. I guess I owe you a cup of coffee. I will get it for you at
the next International Convention..

No problem, Charles. I've been needing to do it for documentation anyway --
I'm one of the worst about "just do it" and never getting around to writing
it down. And if I do write it down, even I may not be able to read it when
it gets cold. Thus all the labels on my wiring.

By the way, after posting I realized that I put the LOP switch diode in the
wrong location: It should be before the dotted-optional line; you don't
need a diode to isolate the alternator -- its internal ones handle that. It
won't hurt, just not needed. When using only 2 diodes, a bridge rectifier,
like for the Onan (which I sell for $5), with 1/4" Faston terminals, is
convenient for wiring and mounting.

that is so much nicer than my idea of a toggle switch going to the selector valve switch.
