Guys,
Suggest you read page 6A-33 of X7525. It recommends using RTV only. Says
it seals better than the rubber gaskets. I removed my valve covers
because of leaks and re-installed them with Ultra Blue RTV several years
ago and they haven't leaked since.
Also the overhaul gasket sets I have purchased for Old's engines didn't
include valve cover gaskets, just RTV.
