Well it looks like our fridge in the GMC is toast. Will no longer cool in any mode, gas or elec. You can hear it gurgle from 3 feet away which evidently means the cooling unit has lost pressure and is no longer functioning. It is a 1985 Norcold sold by Sears.
So now I'm looking for a replacement and as you all know they ain't cheap. Any suggestions on brand, model and features? For sure I want gas/elec.

Jon,
You're not more than 2 hours from National RV Refrigeration in
Shipshewana. You can have yours rebuild with a 3 year warrantee for
under $500. They can do say day service in your coach or you can
purchase a new unit at a really good price.
These are the Amish frig guys and they do excellent work at a
reasonable price. We had them at our rally 2 years ago and GMCES had
them at their rally last year.
Call them at 260-768-7059

You should look at the new series that claim to have more interior
space for the same exterior size.
If nothing else, but to give you an comparison , I can quote on a
dripped ship price for a Norcold 3 way unit.
I'll be here at the office most of the day doing paper work.
